I just got home from work and was greeted by an unbelievable amount of interest from you lovely people. It made my day! Luke has been one busy boy…
Keep your submissions coming writers!
If you have any queries feel free to contact us through our ask box or PIYEHUB@gmail.com

Online for the next hour or so. If anyone has any questions drop me a line in the ask box or PIYEHUB@gmail.com

We’re really enjoying the submissions we have coming in.
They make for very interesting bedtime reading!
Keep submitting!
Remember; if you have any questions regarding the genre or length of your work - email us or use our ask box.

I’m getting lots of messages from non-UK writers wishing to submit tonight.
Luke and I appreciate the interest you’ve all shown in our anthology and would love to involve you all.
Currently we are still only accepting UK submissions HOWEVER (this is a big however) we are working on ways to open it up to all in the near future.
We’ll keep you all well informed of any changes, don’t worry.

Sooo… i’m curious. What’s your favourite book?
Please note that anyone who puts ‘Twilight’ will be pelted with dungbombs.
I jest… I don’t have any dungbombs.

A very successful day organising advertisements in the local area and talking to potential stockists. Time for a cuppa!

We’re working on some sample submissions at the moment.
It should give you an idea of the sort of work we’re looking for and how it’ll all look once Luke works his magic.
I’ll be online throughout the day so if you need any questions answering (or just fancy a chat) feel free to drop by our ask box.

An update on our activities!
Right we’ve been pretty busy lately so I figured i’d give you all an update.
Firstly, i’ve been promoting in the local area and have also managed to find two potential stockists for the anthology in Chester and Liverpool. However, we have a favour to ask of you all; if your local library has a noticeboard we would appreciate it if you’d request a poster from us and ask them to put it up. Also, though the response through Tumblr has been brilliant we’re increasing promotion through Twitter and Facebook. If you have either of those accounts please promote the project. The more interest we get, the more potential readers for your work.
We’ve decided that as well as having print copies of the anthology available we’re going to publish through Kindle. It’s apparently how the cool kids read these days, though I have one so i’m not sure if ‘cool’ is the right word…
I’m currently writing some example submissions which Luke will illustrate when he gets back from his travels. Once they’re uploaded we hope it will help you all to see what we’re aiming to do with this project.
We’re working on something very important that will definitely be of interest to writers not from the UK. Once we’ve smoothed it all out we’ll be posting an announcement on all of our sites. Watch this space.
An old university tutor of mine who runs his own anthology and has several books published has sent us an email this week. He’s promoted the project to his contacts and sent us a poem for inclusion in the first issue of PIYE. I mention this to demonstrate that we’re taking this project seriously and it’s a very real chance to get your work ‘out there’.

Keep your submissions coming, only 25 days left until the deadline!
Hello writers.
Sorry we’ve been off the radar this week, my laptop has died (RIP Iceberg *sob*) so i’ve been completely out of contact. However, i’ve finally booted my sister’s up but it’s prehistoric so apologies for any typos. It still has Internet Explorer…
Anyway, here’s what we’ll be up to in the following few days -
- Stickers, badges and more flyers arrive tomorrow! This is very exciting as Luke and I haven’t seen the badges or stickers yet.
- Our Anti-Valentine’s competition ends at midnight on the 13th so get your entries in ASAP. Quirkiest wins publication on our site with an accompanying illustration by Luke and Cupid may have something for your letterbox.
- Deadline for the first issue of PIYE is the 29th February so get sending! Any questions you have will be answered by one of us as soon as possible. We’ll contact those who have been successful on the 3rd of March.
- Luke is still working on preparations for PIYE Worldwide and we’ll be giving you more information on that at the start of March.

Check out the stuff we got in the post today! Stickers, badges and more flyers! It’s so cool to see Luke’s designs off the laptop screen! I’m using excessive exclamation points to show just how excited I am!
